1. The Palestinian Bible Society, their team members and the individual ministry ourtreach programs they have implemented in various communties. 2. Pray for Naomi and her two young children as they seek to find a way to support themselves and live as Chrisitans in Egypt. Naomi's husband, a Muslim convert to Christianity, was killed by Muslim extremists and she has no way to support her and her children without being under the watchfull eye of her Muslim in-laws. At present she is surviving off of the kindness of Christians in a large city that allows her to escape the scutiny of the small village where her extended family live. 3. Pray for the martyr Rami Ayyad's family, Pauline and their three children. 4. Pray for the Sarina, a convert from Islam to Christianity and her living situation. Her Muslim family has gone as far as to imprison her in their home for a time to convince her to re-convert. 5. Pray for Samer a former Muslim as he proclaims Christ's love to anyone who will listen. Pray for the ministry he has tirelessly work to establish in Lebanon to help MBB's find a place of refuge. 6. Pray for Allen (not his real name) a convert from Islam to Christianity who earlier this year suffered a beating and nearly being beheaded, at the hands of radical Muslims. His grocery store was burned by radical Muslim students and he has lost everything. Pray for safety and continued perserverance for him and his family. |

| PRAYER, HOW IMPORTANT IS IT? As we meet with Christians who are persecuted, the first thing they ask for is prayer. In the 26 years that we have met with them, not once have they asked for prayer that the persecution end. Instead, they ask for prayer that they will remain faithful. They know that they will pay a price for not denying Jesus Christ. 2 Timothy 3:12 says “All who desire to live a Godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” They are standing in the gap for us, bringing Christ to the nations when we cannot. Let us stand with them in prayer. |
